Basic guitar scales series continues with the G harmonic minor guitar scale. I particularly like this one due to its interesting layout on the fretboard. Playing it is a nice exercise for your left hand skill.
Here’s the basic pattern containing three G sounds each one an octave higher. Sounds a little sad, as usually the case with minor scales.

The basic pattern is not that easily transferable up and down the fretboard because of the three open string sounds. The following one is better for practicing and in addition it forces you to do some left hand finger stretching.
