This is the fourth lesson for our pentatonic blues scales edition. A warm applause for you and for the F pentatonic blues guitar scale! So let’s begin.
Now obviously, the root note here is F. And the blue note is B.
The figure below shows that you begin playing the F note on the 1st fret of the E6 string and finish on the D4 string where you play another F note on the 3rd fret.

That was cool, wasn’t it? It’s really easy too. So do that a couple of times to warm your fingers up. Then you can proceed to the next pattern.
And here’s the second pattern where you basically start off by playing the F note on the 8th fret of the A5 string and work your way to the end which is the F note on the 13th fret of the E1 string.
This will be another good exercise for the flexibility of your fingers especially the pinkie, as well as building the endurance for all your fret fingers. Notice that you hear three F sounds in this pattern.
