Today it’s time for yet another guitar scale. This time the F major guitar scale.
On the image below you can see a standard pattern for the F major scale. As you can see the pattern lets you hit F sounds three times. It starts with an F sound and ends with an F sound as well.

Although the standard pattern is a good place to start, I like to practice by playing a different version of the F major scale. One that let’s you move the scale around the fretboard more freely. Here it is:
